These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the mobile application, website, and related services (the “Service”) operated by Acteamity Limited (“Acteamity”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1. About Us
Acteamity Limited is a company registered in England and Wales.
We provide a digital platform that enables employers to support employee fitness and wellbeing through verified activity and reward programmes.

2. Eligibility and Registration
2.1 Eligibility
You must:
- Be at least 16 years old
- Be authorised by your employer
- Have a valid registration code
The Service is intended for workplace participation only.
2.2 Account Registration
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Keep login credentials secure
- Not share access with others
You are responsible for all activity on your account.
3. Relationship with Employers
Acteamity provides a technical platform only.
Your employer:
- Determines eligibility for rewards
- Manages payments
- Makes employment-related decisions
Acteamity is not responsible for:
- Payroll processing
- Tax treatment of rewards
- Employment disputes
- Benefit eligibility decisions
Any questions about payments should be directed to your employer.
4. The Service
We provide tools to:
- Connect fitness platforms
- Verify activity
- Calculate tokens or points
- Display participation summaries
We may update, modify, or improve the Service at any time.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
5. Fitness Data and Integrations
5.1 Third-Party Integrations
You may connect third-party fitness platforms. By doing so, you authorise Acteamity to access relevant data for verification purposes.
We are not responsible for:
- Errors in third-party data
- Service outages of third-party providers
- Changes to third-party platforms
5.2 Accuracy
You are responsible for ensuring that connected data reflects genuine activity.
Fraudulent or manipulated data may result in account suspension.
6. Rewards and Tokens
6.1 Nature of Tokens
Tokens, points, or credits:
- Have no cash value unless determined by your employer
- Are not transferable
- Do not constitute wages or salary
- May be modified or discontinued
6.2 Payment Responsibility
Acteamity does not process payments to users. All payments are made by employers under their own policies.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Provide false information
- Manipulate activity data
- Interfere with system security
- Reverse engineer the Service
- Use the Service unlawfully
- Access data without authorisation
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, software, trademarks, and designs are owned by Acteamity or its licensors.
You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal workplace use.
You may not copy, modify, or distribute our materials without permission.
9. Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You breach these Terms
- Your employer withdraws access
- Fraud or misuse is detected
- Required by law
You may close your account at any time using in-app controls. Termination does not affect legal obligations.
10. Data Protection and Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available".
We do not guarantee that:
- Activity will always be recorded correctly
- Rewards will always be granted
- The Service will be error-free
The Service does not provide medical, health, or fitness advice. Always consult a professional before starting new exercise programmes.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Acteamity is not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss of earnings or benefits
- Employment-related disputes
- Third-party failures
- Data inaccuracies
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid to us by your employer in the previous 12 months, or £100 if no fees were paid.
Nothing limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Acteamity against claims arising from:
- Your misuse of the Service
- Breach of these Terms
- Fraudulent activity
- Unlawful conduct
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
Continued use constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
16. Assignment
We may assign these Terms to another entity as part of a merger, sale, or restructuring. You may not transfer your rights without our consent.
17. Severability
If any provision is found invalid, the remainder remains effective.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Acteamity regarding the Service.
